Frequently Asked Questions

What time are the events?

Most events start at 5:00pm Sydney time, which is around 7:00pm in Auckland and 3:00pm in Singapore and Perth — Western Australia shares Singapore's timezone year-round, since neither observes daylight saving. Note that the Sydney–Auckland gap can occasionally shift by an hour for a week or two each spring and autumn, since Australia and New Zealand don't switch their clocks on quite the same date. Eventbrite will automatically display the time in your own local timezone when you book.

What platform do you use?

All events are streamed on Zoom. You'll receive the link by email when you book. No special equipment is needed — just a stable internet connection.

Can I watch the recording if I can't attend live?

Yes — recordings are made available to all ticket holders after the event, so you can watch at a time that suits you.

Are these events run by UK speakers?

Seed Talks is a UK-based events company and most of our speakers are based in the UK or Europe — but the content is universal. Psychology, neuroscience, and wellbeing have no borders. These sessions are simply scheduled and priced to make attending easy from Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Do I need any background in psychology to attend?

Not at all. Our talks are designed to be accessible and engaging for everyone — whether you're curious about the mind for personal reasons or you work in a related field. Our speakers are skilled at making complex ideas clear and compelling.
