About this talk

Are more of your clients coming to you with a recent ADHD diagnosis, or suspecting they might have one? Working with neurodivergent clients takes more than good intentions. It means seeing beyond the diagnostic criteria to how these traits are actually experienced, recognising when standard approaches aren't landing, and knowing how to adapt. This professional workshop is designed for therapists, coaches and other practitioners who want to move beyond neuroinclusive tick-boxes towards genuinely neuroaffirming practice. Dr Tom Nicholson draws on research and lived experience to help you create therapy spaces that truly affirm neurodivergent clients, while also recognising vicarious trauma and protecting your own wellbeing. This is a professional-level session that assumes familiarity with therapeutic concepts and clinical practice.
